Our History

Logos Ltd. began in 1995 when Microsoft Windows 3.1 was retired and training was still being delivered with an overhead projector. Over the years we have made it our mission to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in training and documentation development and presentation. We continue to provide in-person, instructor-led training as appropriate but also develop content to be distributed through websites, wikis, and learning management systems. Our long history helps us keep focused on the most imporant thing: documentation and training that is high quality and high value. We know that useful, understandable content must remain the focus while employing the right technology for delivery.

Our Philosophy

Through the years of working with industrial clients, Logos Ltd. has identified different types of users and their unique training and documentation needs. From this, we have created our Pyramid of Learning.

Developers are the smallest population. These are the people within your organization who are developing your tools and processes. Their training is often in the form of collegiate level classes. For hardware/software specific training and documentation, they will benefit from vendor "features and functions" materials. They ask, "What can your product do?"

Maintainers are the next group. This is still a relatively small population of people who troubleshoot and maintain your tools and processes. Their training is typically on the job. They ask, "How does your product work?"

Operators are the third group. This is a large population that uses your tools and processes to get their work done every day. Their training is best delivered hands-on in a classroom or through interactive elearning. They ask, "How do I use your product to do my job?"

Users are the final group. This is the largest population as it includes everyone within your organization that interacts with your product or process in any way. Their training is typically lecture based, focused on terms and concepts, and can be delieved through simple video learning. They ask "What is this, and how is it used in our organization?"
